ABOUT US
Market Rock is an iconic industry band night founded by Brad Howell, Jason Howell and Victor Gugger in 2000.
The event has grown from a jam session at the local pub for musicians in the financial markets, to what it has become today - a corporate rock event that attracts over 800 industry representatives and has raised over $1M for charity.
To ensure the longevity and non commercialisation of this important industry event, Market Rock has been formally incorporated as a non-profit entity named Market Rock Incorporated.
The success of the event is due to our bands and sponsors within the finance industry, and the wonderful charity we support, Side of Stage.
ABOUT SIDE OF STAGE
Side of Stage is a new, national initiative conceived by Hilltop Hoods and now proudly led by CanTeen to give young people affected by cancer special access to live music shows across Australia.

Side of Stage is open to young people aged 12-25 whose lives are being turned upside down by cancer, whether it’s their own diagnosis, a close family member’s cancer or the death of a loved one.
